BUILDING BETTER, TOGETHER.

THIS VENUE IS COMMITTED TO QUALITY IMPROVEMENT.

Every child deserves safe, enriching and joyful experiences in Abu Dhabi and every parent deserves the confidence to choose what's best for their child.

That's why the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority (ECA) has built, and is refining, a Quality Recognition System to help improve the places children visit, play, learn and explore.

This venue has been recognized for voluntarily stepping forward to help us test and shape this system, demonstrating a commitment to learning, improving and doing better for the children of Abu Dhabi.

Because quality isn't a destination. It's a journey, a culture, an attitude.

What is the Quality Recognition System?

A first-of-its-kind system globally at this scale, designed to support continuous quality improvement across seven categories of children's experiences beyond nurseries and schools, including: museums, libraries, play areas, parks & playgrounds, children’s play gyms, family entertainment hubs and after-school and seasonal programs.

The system has been developed and is being tested, and participation is entirely voluntary.

How does it work?

Our 360° quality improvement journey brings together three perspectives:

  • The venue:

Reflecting on its strengths and opportunities for improvement through self-assessment.

  • Early childhood experts:

Conducting independent assessments and providing guidance.

  • The parent:

    Sharing experiences and feedback.

Together, we focus on six areas:

Health and safety, child development and engagement, human capital, inclusion and diversity, community participation, and governance and operations.

What are we working towards?

An Abu Dhabi where parents have more choice and greater confidence, where continuous quality improvement becomes part of our culture, and where every child feels safe, included, happy and inspired to learn and explore.

Better experiences. Happier childhoods. A more family-friendly Abu Dhabi.
